Botanical Artworks

Back to the creations

From nature to the walls of your home: an entirely handmade process, painstaking work that takes weeks
Creating a botanical artwork begins with gathering and selecting the flowers best suited to the idea, then preserving them inside a press that shields them from moisture and makes their beauty last forever.
Next comes the cutting, polishing and assembling of the glass in which the flowers are framed. Finally, tin soldering seals the piece with a copper or silver wire.
I use no varnishes or chemical stabilisers in my work: I let nature show all of its beauty, with nothing added.
Artworks can also be made to a design of your own, and enriched with a dedication set in place before soldering.
