The face behind Cosmopiante

I am Serena, the face behind Cosmopiante.
I come from Salerno and, from the day I was born, I have lived surrounded by the wonderful nature of my homeland.
My earliest childhood memories are of walking through the woods with my parents, turning it all into a game: naming the trees, breathing in the scent of a flower, gathering leaves, fruit, mushrooms and wild herbs, or hunting for wild blackberries and tasting them straight from the bramble.
From a very young age I learned to appreciate how rich and astonishing nature is. Years later, watching my parents at work in their workshop as craftspeople and restorers, I began to try my hand at soldering and glass cutting. Techniques such as the Tiffany method, which later proved invaluable when I started building my terrariums and pressing flowers for my botanical artworks.
In recent years I have paired all of this with a deeper study of the plant world, which has left me with a profound admiration for plants: for their strength, their intelligence and their resilience.
Through my work I try to pass on my story, my passion for the plant world and my deep gratitude towards it.
